Bjp is set to contest the 2024 Lok Sabha polls under the presidency of J P Nadda, who is likely to continue as party president for another term.
NEW DELHI
His current tenure of three years will be over on January 20.
“There is a provision in the party constitution that the president can continue for a second term without the process of election,” a party leader said on condition of anonymity.
Former party chief Amit Shah, from whom Nadda had taken over, was also given an extension in 2019 till the Lok Sabha elections.
Recent changes in the organisational structure brought under the leadership of Nadda were also an indication that the current BJP president is set to continue for another term.
