Star India National Cricket Team wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson is most likely to be appointed as the vice-captain of the team for the forthcoming three-match ODI series against the South Africa National Cricket Team, according to an ANI report.
India are set to lock horns with South Africa in a three-match ODI series and a three-match T20I series.
The T20I games will be played on September 28, October 2 and October 4 in Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati and Indore.
The ODI games are scheduled to be played in Ranchi, Lucknow and Delhi on October 6, October 9 and October 11.

Several key players of the Indian team are most likely to be rested for the South Africa ODIs, which will be the last international assignment of the Men In Blue ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022.
The marquee tournament is scheduled to commence on October 16 with the group stage round.
